I could MAYBE see them wanting to take the extra precaution of no longer selling it instead of just delisting it, if the new version was already out but. I think most people are smart enough to figure it out, though, especially when they changed the store-title of the other release of the game to "(Old. They could have delisted it instead so that it wouldn't show up in searches on Steam & then the "not smart enough to figure it out" casual gamers who go looking for it would only find the new version. Yeah, they could have waited until this one was released, but oh well. So unless you're ready to go full blast and do some hardcore cheating, I would suggest just leaving this option alone until all you have left to learn is Magic.Originally posted by Stop Potato Hate:It makes sense to remove the old version, so casual gamers don't get confused about which version to buy. I used this on Strago to learn all of his Blue Magic and the achievement didn't pop. It unlocked the achievements for Cyan, Sabin and Gau's abilities when I used it on the Veldt in Sabin's scenario. It works on Mog's Dances as well but be warned, you may need to use SAM to manually unlock certain achievements tied with learning everyone's abilities. This works on EVERYTHING, including Gau's Rages and Strago's Blue Magic. So either accept the fact that you've just botched your save file early on or don't use this until the very end of the game. There is no way to segregate these options either, it's all or nothing. Basically turn this on, fight a single battle and whatever character is in that battle will learn all of their special abilities including all the Magic in the game.
